On the Mac front, Adobe’s Lightroom was recognized for its robust editing capabilities, while Disney’s immersive storytelling app What If…? An Immersive Story claimed the award for Apple Vision Pro.

The gaming category also showcased remarkable talent. AFK Journey by Farlight Games was named iPhone Game of the Year, captivating players with its engaging mechanics. For iPad gamers, Squad Busters by Supercell provided an exhilarating experience that resonated well with audiences. On Mac, Thank Goodness You’re Here! by Panic, Inc. stood out for its unique gameplay and humor. Apple Arcade’s Game of the Year went to Balatro+, a title that combines strategy with whimsical charm.

In addition to these primary categories, Apple acknowledged several apps for their cultural significance. Notable mentions included Oko, an innovative navigation aid for visually impaired users, and EF Hello, an AI-driven language learning platform that has transformed how people acquire new languages.
