Fullerton, California – The Fullerton plane crash on January 2, 2025, claimed two lives and left 19 injured in a devastating incident that unfolded shortly after 2 PM.

A single-engine Van’s RV-10 aircraft crashed into the roof of a furniture manufacturing facility on Raymer Avenue, near Fullerton Municipal Airport, sparking chaos and grief in the local community.

Details of the Fullerton Plane Crash
Surveillance footage showed the aircraft descending sideways before colliding with the building, igniting a massive explosion. Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic as smoke billowed from the site, and emergency responders rushed to extinguish the flames and evacuate the area.

Fullerton Police Department spokesperson Kristy Wells confirmed that 10 people were hospitalized, while eight others received treatment at the scene.

The identities of the deceased remain undisclosed, and it is unclear if they were onboard the plane or inside the building at the time.

Emergency Response and Investigation
Firefighters and police quickly responded to the Fullerton plane crash, battling a fire fueled by flammable materials inside the furniture warehouse. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched a joint investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

Officials revealed that the pilot reported an emergency shortly after takeoff but did not provide specific details.

Local authorities are working closely with federal agencies to piece together the events leading to this tragedy.
